Branded Cafe Barriers

Branded cafe barriers are modular post-and-panel barriers printed with your logo and artwork, used to mark out outdoor seating, queues and hospitality zones. Gala Graphics prints them to order in solid PVC or wind-permeable mesh, in panel lengths of 1.2m, 1.5m and 2m, built from a master unit you extend with add-on sections to fit any frontage. Claim your pavement properly

For pubs, cafes and restaurants, barriers are usually the practical requirement behind outdoor seating: many councils expect the licensed area to be clearly marked out under pavement licensing, and a barrier line is the standard way to do it. A branded barrier does the compliance job and turns the boundary into advertising at eye level, so the rule you have to follow becomes the frontage that fills your tables. Our guide covers how cafe barriers help hospitality businesses in more detail.

Built for spaces that want to be seen

From high-street cafes and hotel terraces to motorsport hospitality and exhibition zones, printed barriers create organised spaces that read as intentional:

  • Outdoor dining areas wanting clear branding and guest separation
  • Retail and forecourt areas needing queue management
  • Sponsor and VIP zones at events
  • Activation spaces at trade fairs and exhibitions

Custom printed panels, two materials

Every panel is printed to order in full colour, from a single logo to full artwork. Solid PVC (around 440gsm) gives the strongest visual presence for sheltered frontages. Mesh (around 340gsm) lets wind pass through, which suits exposed pitches, seafronts and open event sites. Both carry UV-protected print built for outdoor use, and both take the same artwork, so a mixed setup still looks like one system.

A modular system that grows with your space

Start with a master unit, two posts and a printed panel, then extend with add-on sections of a single post and panel each. Reconfigure, extend or shorten the run as your layout changes: the same barriers cover a two-table frontage or a full event perimeter.

The cafe barrier specialists

Cafe barriers are a core Gala Graphics product. Panels are printed in-house in South Yorkshire, proofed by our design team before production, and the same system runs outside village cafes and inside motorsport hospitality suites. The work is covered by ISO 9001 quality certification as part of the Gala Tent group. If you need artwork prepared from a logo or a brief, the team handles it, call 01709 911948.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are available for the printed sections of the café barriers?
Solid PVC at around 440gsm for the strongest visual presence, or mesh at around 340gsm for windy and exposed positions. Both are printed in full colour with UV-protected inks and built for outdoor use.
How do I configure my café barrier setup?
Start with a master unit, two upright posts and a printed panel, then add add-on sections, each a single post and panel, until the run covers your frontage. Panels come in 1.2m, 1.5m and 2m lengths.
Are the printed panels weatherproof?
Yes. The print is UV-protected and both materials are made for outdoor use in rain and sun. Mesh is the better choice where wind is the main concern, because it lets gusts pass through the panel.
Can the layout change after initial setup?
Yes. The modular system adds, removes and rearranges sections easily, so the same barriers adapt when your seating area grows or your event layout changes.
Do councils require barriers for outdoor seating?
Requirements vary by council, but pavement licences commonly require the licensed area to be clearly marked out, and a barrier line is the accepted way to do it. Check your council's pavement licence conditions for the specifics of your site.
Do you hire cafe barriers?
We supply them to buy rather than hire. For most venues the maths favours owning: a barrier set is used every trading day, and the printed panels are replaceable if your branding changes.
